Sharifa Davronova qualifies for the world championships

World Athletics has announced the list of participants for the World Athletics Indoor Championships for adults, to be held in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship (Poland).

Uzbekistan’s representative, Sharifa Davronova, with a result of 14.05 meters, ranked tenth in the overall standings and was included among the athletes selected for the World Championships based on her best performances.

It should be recalled that on February 7 this year, at the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Tianjin (China), Davronova won the gold medal with a result of 14.05 meters.

The World Championships organized by World Athletics are scheduled for March 20-22 this year. According to the program, the women’s triple jump event, in which Sharifa Davronova will compete, will take place on March 21.
