Samarkand technical schools to cooperate with German institutions

These days, a delegation consisting of the leadership of the Agency for Vocational Education under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the heads of the Agency’s territorial departments, is on a working visit to Germany.

During the TexVET II Forum, held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany, the Head of the Samarkand Regional Department of the Agency, Azizbek Nasimov, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with German officials to develop dual education and train personnel with modern knowledge and skills.

According to the regional administration’s information service, the widespread implementation of the dual education system in the technical schools of Samarkand region, based on Germany’s experience, and the updating of curricula to meet international standards are defined as priority tasks.
