Results-driven governance models
To implement the Presidential Decree “On measures to further improve the efficiency of public administration”, the Agency for Governance Efficiency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a seminar in cooperation with foreign specialists.
Deputy hokims responsible for social issues from 33 districts and cities with the status of “District (City) in the Image of New Uzbekistan”, as well as sector specialists, participated in the event.

At the seminar, the focus was on identifying new growth opportunities and untapped resources, integrating territories into key driver areas, ensuring socio-economic sustainability in regions through practical use of knowledge and skills, enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation between the public and private sectors, and promoting development models and successful management practices implemented in districts. International models for developing social infrastructure based on master plans were analyzed, along with issues related to introducing digital solutions into governance and increasing leaders’ personal responsibility.
By visiting major projects such as the “Olympic Village”, the National Medical Center, the New Uzbekistan University, the Center of Islamic Civilization, and IT Park Uzbekistan, participants had the chance to directly see how theory and practice, along with modern governance approaches, come together.

According to the participants, the seminar program will contribute to the implementation of a results-driven management model.
