President of Uzbekistan arrives in Azerbaijan for a working visit

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, has arrived in Baku.

At Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the President of Uzbekistan was welcomed by the Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Adil Karimli, and other officials.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for tomorrow, May 18. In accordance with the program for the stay, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the events of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum, including the Leaders’ Summit.
