Digital labeling: new requirements and technological solutions for the beverage industry
On March 19, a seminar titled “Accounting of labeled goods for distributors and wholesale participants in the category of water and soft drinks” took place in Tashkent. Experts from the operator Asl Belgisi, along with integrators, shared practical solutions for digital labeling, discussed main challenges, and suggested effective ways to address them.
According to a Cabinet of Ministers resolution, effective April 1, new requirements come into force in Uzbekistan, obliging producers of water and soft drinks to switch to a system for aggregating labeled products. The implementation of digital labeling is already enabling enterprises to optimize internal processes: warehouse accounting is simplified, shipments are accelerated, and automation ensures real-time tracking of each product unit.
During the seminar, integrators addressed participants’ questions and provided detailed explanations of the technical aspects of system implementation. It was noted that labeling plays a crucial role in protecting brands from counterfeiting, improving the transparency of logistics chains, and significantly reducing the human factor.
Experts highlight that digital traceability is now a mandatory requirement for legal operations and a key tool for boosting business efficiency. Successful examples from local manufacturers show that adapting quickly to government requirements not only ensures compliance but also provides major operational benefits.
