Digital cooperation with Japan expands
A meeting was held in Japan between representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Takehiko Matsuo, the Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, to expand cooperation between the two countries in the field of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.

During the discussion, the parties addressed training engineers in information technology and artificial intelligence for the Japanese market, developing grant projects, and increasing IT services exports.
As noted, over the past year, about 30 Japanese IT companies have become residents of IT Park Uzbekistan and are successfully operating in the country.
The participants in the meeting discussed the possibility of establishing the Uzbekistan Japan Digital Center and reviewed a presentation on the potential of data centers in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The expansion of the partnership contributes to transforming Uzbekistan into one of the centers of global IT services exports, training highly qualified personnel, and strengthening ties in the digital economy.
