Cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry is progressing
A meeting took place between Abdulla Azizov, the Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, and the head of ALCAN, during which they discussed prospects for cooperation.
ALCAN showed interest in expanding its export activities, launching joint projects, and entering new markets.
The Agency also held a training session titled “Investment Attraction”, with specialists from Saviday (Ireland) in attendance.
The goal of the training is to improve the efficiency of organizing investment processes, develop skills in engaging with investors, and conduct negotiations. The training program included studying advanced international experience, analyzing real cases, and mastering modern approaches.
Additionally, Mr. Azizov met with the Rector of Atatürk University, Professor Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu.
During the meeting, the university’s scientific achievements and modern material and technical infrastructure in medicine, pharmacology, genetics, biotechnology, and clinical research were discussed.
The parties discussed opportunities to expand international cooperation, develop joint educational programs, exchange experiences, and implement joint scientific projects. Information was shared about educational and scientific institutions within the Agency’s system and projects in the field of biopharmaceuticals.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue building partnerships in education, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and clinical research.
