Agricultural priorities identified

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshidjon Abduzukhurov and the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran Majid Anjafi discussed via videoconference the current state and priority areas of agricultural cooperation between the two countries, as well as ongoing joint projects.

The parties emphasized the importance of expanding partnership in crop and seed production, horticulture, livestock farming, fisheries, and specialist training, and of strengthening ties by introducing modern agricultural technologies, machinery, and innovative solutions. 

Agreements were reached to elevate cooperation to a new level and improve mechanisms for interaction.
