16 Uzbekistan boxers reach the final
The semifinal bouts of the Asian Boxing U15 & U17 Boxing Championships have concluded at the Olympic Village in Tashkent.
Sixteen boxers from Uzbekistan’s national team – 6 girls and 10 boys – advanced to the final of the competition. Kazakhstan’s national team ranks second in the number of finalists, with 11 athletes, including five girls and six boys. India’s team is in third place with nine finalists – eight girls and one boy.
The final will be held on May 15.
