Uzbekistan’s school students win 20 medals at the international math competition
The International Mathematics Competition (IMC) took place in Mongolia, uniting over 600 school students from 32 countries. Uzbekistan’s representatives secured 20 medals: 1 gold, 9 silver, and 10 bronze.
Dilbek Ziyodullayev, a student at Specialized Boarding School No. 1 in Karshi, secured the gold medal in the Junior category.
Silver medals were awarded to Abdusamat Abdikomilov, Shamshodbek Jalolov, and Shokhjakhon Abdilsattarov, students of the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Specialized School, Temurbek Zokirov, a student of the Presidential School in Nurafshan, Anvar Abduvaliyev, a student of Specialized Boarding School No. 1 in Karshi, and Shakhriyor Khaitboyev, a student of the Specialized School in Sergeli district.
Bronze medals were won by Ilyosbek Komiljonov, a student at General Education School No. 219 in Tashkent’s Almazar district, Asrorbek Kobilov, a student at the Specialized School in Sergeli district, Shokhjakhon Niyozaliyev, a student at the Specialized Boarding School in Akhangaran, Jahongir Farkhodov, a student at the Presidential School in Tashkent, Behruzbek Ismoilov, a student at the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Specialized School, and Ramziddin Rakhmatillayev, a student at the Specialized School in Chirakchi district, Kashkadarya region.
In the Senior category, silver medals were awarded to Umarbek Ubaydullayev, a student at the Specialized School in Sergeli district, Fayzulloh Tokhirov, a student at the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Specialized School, and Ozodbek Sayakulov, a student at Rustam Bosimov International School in Syrdarya region.
Bronze medals were awarded to Abdulaziz Rajabov, a student at the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Specialized School, Komronbek Kamolov, a student at General Education School No. 35 in Bukhara, Bakhtiyor Ostonov, a student at the Specialized Boarding School in Karakul district, Bukhara Region, and Odiljon Yokubov, a student at Specialized Boarding School No. 1 in Karshi.
