Uzbekistan hosts “Fergana – Gomel” Business Forum
The “Fergana – Gomel” Business Forum was held in Fergana to develop trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Fergana region and Gomel region of the Republic of Belarus.
The event, held at the regional information and library center, brought together representatives from the business community, major entrepreneurs, heads of chambers of commerce and industry, and profile organizations from the two regions.
Hokim of Fergana region Khayrullo Bozorov opened the forum by welcoming the Belarusian delegation led by the Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Ivan Krupko, who is in the region on a working visit.

It was noted that, according to the 2025 results, the trade turnover between Fergana region and Belarusian regions reached $42 million. There are 12 joint enterprises operating in the region with Belarusian capital, and several investment projects are underway.
In his speech, Ivan Krupko highlighted the steady growth of bilateral relations and the importance of strengthening ties with Fergana region.
During the forum, presentations on the investment and export potential, industry, and tourism opportunities of the two regions took place. Deputy Hokim of Fergana region, Nuridin Mamajonov, also delivered a report.
Following the event, B2B meetings were held, during which agreements were reached to implement joint investment and cooperation projects.
