Results of Tashkent International Conference discussed at IICA

Director of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) Anvar Nasirov has met with the Director of the Energy, Growth and Security Program at the International Tax and Investment Center, Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council (United States) Ariel Cohen.

The event was attended by experts from the Institute and representatives of analytical and research structures of Uzbekistan.

The parties exchanged views on the state and prospects of regional cooperation.

Ariel Cohen noted the high level of organization and fruitful results of the International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities” that took place on 15-16 July.

The sides also considered issues of establishing cooperation between Uzbekistan and the American expert community.
