President of Uzbekistan participates in the opening ceremony of the UIM F1H2O Grand Prix of Kyrgyzstan

As part of the informal Consultative Meeting, the Presidents of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan attended the official opening ceremony of the UIM F1H2O Grand Prix of Kyrgyzstan on Lake Issyk-Kul.

The leaders welcomed the participants and guests of the competition.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his spouse watched the athletes’ qualifying race.

The Grand Prix, the second event of the F1H2O World Championship, also called “Formula 1 on Water”, is organized by the Union Internationale Motonautique. Each year, professional teams and athletes from various countries compete. This marks the first time the World Championship round is held in Central Asia.

The competition includes practice sessions, qualifying races, and the main race, all featuring high-speed boats capable of speeds exceeding 220 km/h.
