President of Uzbekistan awards Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade the Order of “El-Yurt Hurmati”

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the Muslims Board of the Caucasus, Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the First International Islamic Civilization Forum.

The President of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude for the book “The Highest Point of Brotherhood and Alliance”, presented by the Sheikh-ul-Islam and dedicated to the joint efforts of the leaders of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

The parties comprehensively discussed strengthening interethnic harmony and religious tolerance, improving the spiritual education of young people, and other issues.

The President of Uzbekistan put forward important proposals to elevate bilateral cultural and educational cooperation.

It was recognized that leveraging scientific advancements in digital platforms and interactive educational tools can effectively communicate the core humanistic values of Islam to young audiences in an accessible and engaging manner.

Following the meeting, the President of Uzbekistan presented Allahshukur Pashazade with Uzbekistan’s Order of “El-Yurt Hurmati” for his enormous contribution to the scholarship of the Muslim world.
