Garuda TV features special programs dedicated to Uzbekistan
In recent years, Indonesia has become increasingly interested in Uzbekistan’s history and cultural heritage, especially its role in shaping Islamic civilization. This interest is evident in publications by respected media outlets that cover Uzbekistan’s history, culture, and current development, helping build a positive image of the country worldwide.
Special programs highlighting Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage and strong scientific potential were showcased on Garuda TV. Uzbekistan is depicted as the center of an ancient civilization and the birthplace of eminent scientists who have made significant contributions to the development of Islamic science.
Special attention is given to the life and scientific legacy of Imam Bukhari, a renowned scholar and founder of Hadith studies. The Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex is recognized as a significant spiritual and scientific hub where research is conducted, and pilgrimage tourism is growing.

Samarkand is recognized as an important center of world civilization. Architectural landmarks such as the Amir Temur Mausoleum and Registan Square demonstrate the high level of cultural and scientific achievement during the Timurid period.

The Ulugbek Observatory exemplifies the development of science, and the ideas of inter-civilizational dialogue are demonstrated through the Rukhabad Mausoleum. Traditional crafts, calligraphy, and national cuisine are highlighted as key aspects of the country’s rich cultural heritage.

Tashkent is regarded as an example of a harmonious blend of modern development and historical heritage. Special attention is given to the activities of the Center for Islamic Civilization, which focuses on studying and promoting Islamic heritage. Through the examples of the Hazrati Imam Complex and the Chorsu Market, the unity of national traditions and spiritual life is demonstrated.
At the same time, the programs highlight that the country is steadily improving and remains open to international cooperation.
