A world-renowned grape variety will be cultivated in Asaka district
A project is underway in Asaka district, Andijan region, to develop 190 hectares of hilly land and pasture for creating vineyards.
The climate and soil of the region are well-suited for growing the Avatar grape, a variety created in California that is highly drought-resistant.

Implementing drip irrigation will promote the efficient utilization of water resources in the region’s difficult terrain.
Agrosanoat Innovatorlari LLC is implementing the project on behalf of the Agency for Agro-Industrial Development.

The project also aims to develop the area into a regional tourism hub. It includes plans for creating recreation zones, lodging options, an agritourism cluster, a family restaurant, a zipline, and attractions for active recreation.
