The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Babur Usmanov, met with the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, in Istanbul.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the negotiations took place within the framework of the meetings of the Deputy Heads of OTS Foreign Ministries.

The parties discussed issues of expanding multilateral cooperation, emphasizing the importance of intensifying cooperation in key areas. Attention was also paid to improving the efficiency of the affiliated structures of the OTS.

Special emphasis was placed on the implementation of the initiatives and proposals of the President of Uzbekistan, who presented them at the organization’s summits.
