Uzbekistan – Tatarstan: Scientific and industrial cooperation in the nuclear sector continues to grow
A delegation from the Uzatom Agency conducted several important meetings during a working visit to Tatarstan.
The delegation visited Kazan National Research Technical University named after A. Tupolev and examined its museum, laboratories, and advancements in composite technologies, materials science, and engineering fields. An exchange of ideas took place on the development of innovative materials for the nuclear industry and the creation of a shared laboratory infrastructure.

At Kazan State Power Engineering University, members of the delegation examined modern educational facilities in nuclear, thermal, and electrical engineering, including training simulators. Special focus was placed on training highly qualified specialists in the nuclear energy sector, establishing joint educational centers, and exchanging scientific and practical experience.

At the Technopolis Khimgrad, effective models for the development of industrial parks were presented, along with experience in organizing engineering infrastructure. Approaches to implementing industrial projects were discussed, including forms of cooperation used in Uzbekistan.

Following the visit, key areas for cooperation in nuclear energy, science, and industry were identified.
