R. Abdullayev, competing in the super lightweight division (63.5 kg), faced his next opponent, Cuban boxer Orestes Velazquez.
The fight was scheduled for ten rounds, but the confrontation ended ahead of schedule. In the fifth round, Abdullayev knocked out his opponent.
This marks Abdullayev’s fifth win in his professional boxing career.
