Navoi International Airport strengthens its standing as an international cargo hub
Cargo transportation at Navoi International Airport is steadily growing, confirming its status as an important transit hub in Central Asia.
Due to the implementation of the tasks stipulated in the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to improve the efficiency of Navoi International Airport”, dated February 9, 2026, the number of international flights is increasing, and new partnerships are being established.
On April 11, the CMA CGM Air Cargo made its first technical landing on the Hong Kong – Navoi – Paris route.
“This airline is the largest cargo operator in the world”, says Aziz Mardonov, Head of the commercial department at the airport. “Cargo flights from China to Europe via Navoi are currently planned”.
The airline will operate 11 flights per week on the Hong Kong – Navoi – Paris and Hong Kong – Navoi – Brussels routes.
