Khiva to host the 4th Uzbekistan – Belarus Interparliamentary Forum
On September 29-30, Khiva will host the 4th Uzbekistan – Belarus Interparliamentary Forum. The parties will consider promising areas of interparliamentary, trade-economic, and business cooperation.
Preparations for this event became one of the key topics of the meeting between Mikhail Myatlikov, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Nuriddin Mamajonov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Belarus, in Minsk.
The forum’s program includes thematic sessions on current areas of cooperation, a plenary session, a cultural program, and an exhibition of products from both countries.
Belarus is preparing to present its exposition at the forum’s exhibition, to be organized by Belinterexpo.
Special attention was given to expanding contacts between businesspeople and promoting the agreements. In particular, participants discussed implementing the agreements reached during the Prime Minister of Belarus’s visit to Uzbekistan in February 2026.
The upcoming forum is expected to become a venue for discussing new joint projects, expanding trade and economic ties, and strengthening cooperation between business representatives and government agencies of the two countries.
