Tashkent hosted an international tournament dedicated to the memory of international grandmaster and renowned coach Dmitry Kayumov.

Ten participants from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan competed in a round-robin format.

The winner was Maksat Atabayev from Turkmenistan, who scored 6.5 out of a possible nine points. Second place went to Uzbekistan’s Akbarali Abdukhakimov, who scored six points, while third place was claimed by Kyrgyzstan’s Semetei Tologon Tegin, who scored 5.5 points.
