Cooperation with Serbia enhances
International relations aimed at modernizing agriculture, producing high-quality seedlings, and the widespread adoption of innovative approaches in the industry are steadily advancing in Uzbekistan.
In recent years, special attention has been paid to strengthening cooperation with leading foreign companies.
Following the business forum held during the visit of a delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia – Minister of Economy, Adrijana Mesarović, an agreement was signed on cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and EvroKalem Trade Ltd. to develop crop production.
To ensure the implementation of this agreement and raise cooperation to a practical level, a dialogue was organized between representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Plant Protection Directorate of Serbia. Issues arising from the implementation of joint projects were discussed, and appropriate proposals and recommendations to address them were developed.
An agreement was reached to expand priority areas of cooperation, including establishing cooperation between the research institutes of the two countries, introducing advanced agricultural technologies, and exchanging experience in plant breeding and cultivation. An agreement was also reached on the phased implementation of promising business proposals put forward by EvroKalem Trade Ltd, the expansion of joint projects, and the development of investment cooperation.
