Andijan products showcased in Herat

Andijan region’s delegation, led by the Hokim of the region, Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov, is on a working visit to Afghanistan to establish trade, economic, and cultural cooperation and to strengthen mutually beneficial ties.

Issues regarding the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation and the implementation of joint investment projects were discussed with the governor of Herat province, Noor Ahmad Islamjar. It was noted that the meeting will be a significant step in the development of friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.

Almost 200 items were presented at the exhibition of products manufactured in Andijan region. Andijan entrepreneurs have signed agreements with representatives of Afghan companies.

This exhibition is important for opening new export markets for Uzbekistan’s manufacturers, increasing product competitiveness, expanding trade ties with Afghanistan, and strengthening friendly relations between the two peoples.
