Agreements worth $20 million signed
The international industrial exhibition Wire & Tube Düsseldorf 2026 concluded with significant outcomes for Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering industry.
According to the Uzeltеchsanoat Association, representatives of the association and enterprises within its structure took an active part in the event.
Electrical engineering products were presented at the “Made in Uzbekistan” stand, whose quality and export potential were highly appreciated by foreign participants at the exhibition.
As part of the event, several effective B2B meetings were held with representatives from several companies in Europe and the United States. During the negotiations, issues related to the supply of cable products, the joint localization of copper pipe production with the German company Starofit, and opportunities to enter the European Union market with the support of the CzechTrade agency were discussed.
One of the key outcomes of the exhibition was the signing of major export agreements. In particular, export contracts were concluded between Metsol LLC and the Slovenian company Zikas, and between Metal Processing Technology LLC and German partners. In addition, Sharq Tubes and Artikul Aziya Kabel reached agreements on cooperation with companies from Germany and Austria. The agreements were signed for a total of $20 million.
