A new stage of scientific cooperation in rice farming
A delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan visited the Rice Research Institute of Uzbekistan to learn about ongoing reforms and research in rice farming.
During the visit, the delegation members became familiar with the institute's scientific and innovative activities, assessed the conditions in modern laboratories, and studied ongoing research in rice cultivation, breeding, and seed production.

Detailed information was provided on new high-yielding, disease-resistant varieties. Modern technologies for efficient use of water resources and advanced agrotechnical methods were also discussed.

The parties considered issues related to expanding scientific cooperation in agriculture, exchanging experience, implementing joint research projects, and improving specialists’ skills.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop mutually beneficial cooperation, conduct joint research, and implement innovative developments in practice.
