Uzbekistan’s Ziyodakhon Isoqova won the silver medal in para taekwondo WT among women in the K44 category of the 17th Summer Paralympic Games, weighing up to 47 kilograms.

Ziyodakhon Isoqova played against Peru’s Leonor Angelica Espinoza Carranza in the final decisive match of the tournament. Unfortunately, Uzbekistan’s taekwondo player was a bit unlucky in this match.

Thus, on the first day of the most prestigious four-year competition, the Uzbekistan delegation won one silver and one bronze medal.
