Abu Dhabi, UAE, hosted the World Veterans Judo Championships.

973 judokas from 63 countries fought for victory at the championships. Uzbekistan’s judokas participated in the M2 category.

Zafar Arslonov won a gold medal in the weight category up to 100 kg. Aziz Toshmatov and Marufkhoja Muminkhojayev won silver medals in their weight categories.

Bakhrom Inoyatov, Maris Makhmudov, Fakhriddin Sharipov, and Khamid Atajanov became bronze medalists.
