This year, the Samarkand Marathon series of international charity runs turns five years old.

Yesterday, under the slogan “Let’s unite for health and preserving the environment!” The “Zaamin Ultra 2024” marathon took place.

Almost 1,000 people participated in the event, which was organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan.

The day before, a concert was held in Zaamin National Park with DJs and performers of modern electronic music. The group Qaraqoom, whose work combines the ethnic sound of the peoples of Central Asia with modern electronic music, also presented a show.
