September 1 marks the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Representatives of the diplomatic corps, ambassadors, foreign experts, and heads of international organizations are extending their congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on this occasion.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Uzbekistan, Yu Jun, also congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on this great holiday – Independence Day.

– We sincerely congratulate the friendly people of Uzbekistan on Independence Day. On the country’s path of development, we wish every citizen health, well-being, and a bright future. China is pleased with the development of relations with the hospitable and noble people of Uzbekistan. We highly value the efforts Uzbekistan has undertaken during the years of independence to build a strong state and implement effective reforms. Thanks to the wise policy of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, initiatives aimed at building a New Uzbekistan are being successfully implemented.

We are witnessing the active development of the country’s economy, improvements in ecology, and progress across various sectors. Uzbekistan is one of our strategic partners. The people of China are happy and interested in this.

We are ready to intensify our efforts for the prosperity of Uzbekistan. This will undoubtedly serve the interests of both countries.
