The Tashkent city stage of the traditional kurash tournament “Palvans of Mahalla” has taken place.

More than one hundred boys and girls competed in the tournament arranged at the initiative of the Mahalla pubic charity foundation in cooperation with the Tashkent city main department for culture and sports and the city council of the Kamolot youth public movement.

In the competition among boys, Bunyod Sultonboyev, Doniyor Bahodirov and Shams Imomnazarov won a victory in their weight categories.

In the competition among girls, Diyora Obitova, Kamola Husniddinova and Shohista Mahmudova won gold medals.

“Thanks to the tournament, I became even more interested in kurash and learned new moves,” says Shams Imomnazarov.
