The Ministry of Innovative Development hosted the awarding ceremony of young scientists with a high Hirsch Index. The awards were presented in four disciplines of Scopus Database – mathematics, geology, biology and chemistry.
The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Youth, Culture and Sports Affairs Diloram Tashmukhamedova, Minister of Innovative Development Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov, young scientists, researchers, members of Youth Academy and vice-rectors of higher education institutions.
According to the results of the International Database Scopus for 2020, a 100 million UZS one-time cash prize was awarded to young scientists under the age of 40 who achieved the Hirsch Index in mathematics, biology, chemistry and geology.
The event also included the awarding ceremony of certificates and gifts from the Ministry of Innovative Development to young women-scientists. Memorable gifts were also presented to women vice-rectors of universities for research and innovation. Young talents became holders of certificates for membership in the Youth Academy.
