Uzbekistan’s young tennis players have successfully performed at the WTT Youth Contender in Algeria.

Uzbekistan’s Amir Shiriyev won a gold medal under 11 age category.

Another athlete from Uzbekistan, Asel Erkebayeva, won a silver medal in the U15 age category. Temurbek Nurmonov was awarded a bronze medal among young men in this age category.

Thus, according to the results of the WTT Youth Contender, the Uzbekistan national team won 2 gold, 1 silver, and 5 bronze medals – a total of 8 awards.
