Young table tennis players from Uzbekistan are successfully participating in the WTT Youth Contender in Algeria.

Adelina Khasanova overcame all her rivals in the U13 category and won the gold medal, and Eleonora Shiriyeva won the bronze medal. Alikhan Kamalov became a bronze medalist in junior competitions in the same age category.

In the U15 age category, the duo of Adelina Khasanova and Shakhbozbek Gulomiddinov won a bronze medal in the mixed doubles competitions.

Thus, on the first day of the competition, Uzbekistan national team members won a gold and three bronze medals.
