The regional stage of the “high-morality generation” youth festival has been conducted in Andijon.

This festival is conducted by the republican morality propagation centre in cooperation with a number of establishments and departments. The festival serves to strengthen the moral foundations of independence, to instil in people, especially young people, such feelings as love for the Motherland and devotion to ideas of independence, to increase young people’s knowledge and to further broaden their worldview.

More than 400 young talents who had won in the district and town phases of the contest competed in 8 nominations such as “artistic creation”, “expert on the history of independence”, “the most talented craftsman”, “artist depicting national identity in his work”, “fashion designer showing national identity in his work”, “those singing of the Motherland” and “high-morality generation”.

24 winners obtained the right to participate in the republican phase of the contest.

“At today’s event, I displayed more than 30 of my works of art. We are grateful to our state for creating all the necessary conditions for young people to display their talent and potential and for giving comprehensive support to their artistic and intellectual abilities,” says the winner of the “artistic creation” nomination, Iroda Orifjonova, a student of Baliqchi District’s specialized boarding school No 12.

Within the framework of the festival, young talents’ works of craftsmanship, visual and applied arts and scientific and literary works were displayed.

Certificates of merit and memorable gifts were given to the winners and runners-up.
