A ceremony of giving diplomas and bestowing ranks has taken place at the Tashkent higher technical police school of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, students, their family members and friends as well as young people and journalists attended the event.

The minister of internal affairs of Uzbekistan, A.Ahmadboyev; the head of the Tashkent higher technical police school of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country, H.Mamatov, and others have said that reforms being conducted under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, in the system of interior bodies are giving their weighty results.

A highly effective system has been created to ensure law and order, to fight crime and to safeguard public security and people’s calm.

Special attention is also being paid to training personnel for the interior bodies. The Tashkent higher technical police school of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan plays an important role in this.

The Tashkent higher technical police school of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is one of the big higher educational establishments of the country in the area of training, re-training and upgrading the skills of command and technical-engineering personnel for the interior bodies and other law enforcement agencies.

At the educational establishment, training is conducted to state standards with the use of modern information technologies and teaching techniques.

A special computer modelling and simulation centre functioning at the higher school, computerized training tools, means of electronic education and multimedia laboratories help to raise the effectiveness and quality of education. Information and communication technologies and sports sections are widely used in educational processes there.

“My father was an officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for more than 20 years, and my mother has been working as a nurse at a rural medical establishment for 30 years now,” says a graduate of the higher school, Bunyod Tursunboyev of Jizzakh District.

At the event, higher education diplomas and the rank of lieutenant were given to graduates.
