Regional stage of "Do you know the law?" competition among students of secondary special and professional education institutions was held in Bukhara.

The competition, held by Bukhara Regional Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan jointly with regional departments of justice, internal affairs, secondary special and vocational education, was aimed at improving young people’s legal knowledge, supporting and encouraging gifted students.

The competition was attended by 13 teams. Participants demonstrated their understanding of the essence and importance of reforms carried out in judicial and legal sphere of the country, made proposals on improving legislative acts concerning youth. With the help of videos and presentations, they told about activities carried out on improving legal culture in society, expressed their proposals on addressing such problems as drug addiction and corruption through stage performances.

The first place was taken by "Delegate" team of Kagan professional college of industry and transport and received the right to participate in the republican stage of the competition.

"Adolat" team of the academic lyceum No.2 at Bukhara Engineering Technology Institute took the second place and "Rayosat" team of Bukhara Tax College – the third place.
