International Handball Tournament in Iran among youth born in 2002-2004, became successful for Uzbekistan’s athletes.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, members of Uzbekistan national team under the leadership of Botir Karadjayev took third place in this week's tournament.

They won a convincing victory over Iraq (28:15), Georgia (43:29), Turkey (33:26) and Iran (38:21), but lost to the host county representatives (born in 2004) with a score of 23:22.

The winners will return to Tashkent on January 21.
