A business forum of young entrepreneurs under the title “Youth entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan: state and prospects" has been held in Tashkent.

Young entrepreneurs from all regions of our country took part at the event, jointly organized by "Kamolot" Youth Public Movement, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Central Bank, ministries, agencies and commercial banks.

Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan A.Shayhov, chairman of the Federation Council of Trade Unions T.Norboeva, first deputy chairman of the Central Council of "Kamolot" Youth Public Movement F.Muhammadjonova and others spoke at the closing ceremony of the forum and highlighted the macroeconomic stability and economic growth in Uzbekistan as a result of implemented reforms on the basis of the “Uzbek model” of development, initiated by President Islam Karimov.

There is a significant contribution of our talented young people in the progress, made in all spheres of our life.

- A great attention is paid in our country to introducing modern technologies in the sphere of production and services, says Sardor Negmatov from Navoi. I am immensely pleased that young entrepreneurs are actively involved in carrying these tasks. At the forum, I presented proposals on producing high quality products based on innovative technologies.

- Ownership is guaranteed, enterprising and motivated young people receive comprehensive support in our country, Umarova Zarnigor from Tashkent said. - This process is important to stimulate young people to implement its plans and objectives. At the forum, we were given expert advice about the business plan, registration of business entities, possibilities and conditions for young people in the business sphere.

Presentations of the ideas and initiatives of young men and women were considered at sectional zones. Business ideas on the effective use of information and communication technologies, establishment of production of consumer goods, tourism development, strengthening social partnership on the basis of socio-economic protection of young entrepreneurs, further improvement of the legal documentation for youth entrepreneurship were highly appreciated by experts. Proposals concerning the current state and prospects of youth entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan were presented to the relevant ministries, departments and organizations.

Active participants were awarded with diplomas and gifts at the event.
