The short film “Chana” (“Sledge”), included in the screening program of 18 films of the Youth Cinema Almanac Debut-2020, filmed by the State Unitary Enterprise “Yoshlik Film Studios” by the order of Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency, was awarded a special diploma of the International Youth Film Festival “Light to the World”. The competition was held in Russia’s city of Yaroslavl.

The script was written and directed by Sukhrob Kodirov. The operator of the film is Nortoy Yuldashev. Artist – Alisher Tulaboyev, composer – Ubaydullo Karimov, second director – Dilshod Usmonov, artistic director – Shukhrat Rizayev.

The festival brought together film projects of young directors from Armenia, Bulgaria, India, Turkey, Russia, Uzbekistan and other countries. The “Chana” received a worthy place among the finalists in the category of films created for children’s audiences.
