Shukhrat Ibragimov, Director of the State Theater of Young Spectators of Uzbekistan, will participate in the World Youth Festival on March 1-7 in Russia’s Sochi.

Artists from 34 countries will attend the festival, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Moldova.
The event will feature exciting workshops, discussions, panel sessions, and performances by the best creative teams.
The screening of the experimental play “Chekhov”, staged by the Laboratory of Young Directors of the CIS countries, which the International Confederation of Theatre Unions conducted with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation, will become one of the impressive events of the World Youth Festival.
Preparations for the performance are currently underway. Shukhrat Ibragimov, the artistic director of the State Theater of Young Spectator of Uzbekistan, is also among the young directors participating in the event.
Under the direction of director Vladimir Pankov, representatives of different countries, cultures, and languages immersed themselves in a unique method of mastering works of Russian classical literature on the theater stage and created an original performance together.
