The Uzbekistan national team became first at the World U9-U17 Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships in Türkiye.

More than 300 chess players from 33 countries participated in the championship.

Uzbekistan’s young chess players have won five gold and bronze medals, including two silver medals. The Turkish national team ranked second with eight medals, and the FIDE team ranked third with six medals.

Uzbekistan’s Humoyun Bekmuratov, Asrorjon Omonov, Rukia Olimova, Madinabonu Khalilova, Abdumajid Botiraliyev, and Nurmuhammad Nematillakhonov made a worthy contribution to the national team’s victory.
