Egypt hosts the FIDE World Cadet Championships U8, U10 and U12.

At the championships, with the participation of more than 500 talented chess players from 66 countries, the honor of Uzbekistan is defended by 14 members of the Uzbekistan national team.

At the preliminary round competitions, Feruzbek Sobirov, Javokhir Bozorov, Khusnorakhon Khusnitdinova, and Sevinch Davlatova defeated their opponents, and Abdurakhmon Rajabov and Oriyat Obidjonov ended up in a draw.

The championships will run until October 27.
