A festival of young artisans took place in Shodlik recreation park in Surkhandarya region’s Muzrabad district.

About 50 artisans presented handmade products at the event, organized on the initiative of the district prosecutor Islombek Khujamurodov together with the district Center for Women's Entrepreneurship and the Department of the Agency for Youth Affairs.

The festival is aimed at developing national handicrafts, folk and applied arts, preserving rich culture, heritage and historical traditions of people, ensuring citizens employment, especially young people, women and low-income families, through their broad involvement in handicrafts.

Knitted, carved and embroidered products, carpets, floral items were presented.
