Representatives of the older generation recall that tourists once visited the monument “Yogochli Sardoba” in Sardoba district of Syrdarya region. However, the monument was abandoned at some point, and interest in it disappeared.

The Hokim of Syrdarya region, Akmaljon Makhmudaliyev, set the task of preserving the monument’s architecture and making the territory a tourist area.

A project was developed for an integral tourist complex “Yogochli Sardoba”. On the side of the M-39 highway, service and retail complexes, catering, sanitation and hygiene facilities, gas stations, parking lots, and a hotel will be built. The infrastructure of the nearby “Fayzliobod” mahalla will be improved.

During the presentation of the project, the Regional Hokim noted that considering the territory’s natural and climatic conditions, tourism can be the district’s driver. He recommended improving the project, emphasizing that national traditions should become a priority during construction.
