Yangi Namangan develops its tourism potential
The German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) held a workshop on “Tourism development project in Fergana Valley and its goals” in the Akhsikent Hotel of Yangi Namangan district.
Representatives of the tourism business, hotel managers, and guides participated in the workshop, organized in three regions of the valley to develop tourism, increase tourism potential, and the interest of tourists.
Project Manager Beate Schoreit shared her knowledge about the uniqueness of cultures and dishes, gaining greater access to the tourism market through improving the quality of services provided. It was noted that Namangan has many unique places, historical sites, and entertainment venues. Special traditions and customs, handicraft products, and national dishes deserve attention.
