According to the Presidential Resolution of March 20 this year “On the creation of a special industrial zone “Yangi Avlod” in the city of Tashkent”, a special industrial zone (SIZ) “Yangi Avlod” will be created in Yangikhayot district of Tashkent with a period of operation of 30 years.

When an SIZ operates, its participants are subject to specific tax, customs benefits, and other preferences established for participants in special economic zones.

A management company “Yangi Avlod” will be created to manage the SIZ as a limited liability company.

The management company will lease land plots for investment projects on the “Yangi Avlod” SIZ territory through the E-auction electronic trading platform.

By the end of 2025, foreign direct investment of up to $1.5 billion will be absorbed, creating more than 2.5 thousand new jobs.
