Electric scooters can now be rented through the Yandex Go mobile app. In crowded areas, they will automatically slow down smoothly, and the app will remind you of important safety rules.

Yandex Go clarified that users receive 10 minutes of free time to walk to a scooter after booking. The cost of the trip starts from 890 UZS per minute. You can also purchase packages for 30 minutes for 20990 UZS and 50 minutes for 32990 UZS. One hundred minutes will cost 61990 UZS. Payment for the trip is made automatically from the card linked in the app. Using the scooter rental service is enough to update the Yandex Go app to the latest version.

Before the trip, users will receive simple instructions on how to use scooters safely, and in places with many people, they automatically slow down. Such zones are marked on the map in the application. Scooters smoothly reduce speed to a complete stop in areas prohibited for riding.

You can book up to three scooters from one account simultaneously, which is convenient when ordering for friends or relatives. There are two ways to rent several scooters: through the “One More” button in the application or by scanning the QR code on the scooter’s body. The number of scooters for trips in Tashkent will gradually increase.

At the same time, for safe and comfortable control of the electric scooter, there should be no more than one person on it. You can rent and ride electric scooters from the age of 18. The life and health of users during a ride on a Yandex Go scooter are insured.
