Another step towards unity
Representatives of China’s most influential news agency – Xinhua, are visiting Uzbekistan these days. On 25 September, the delegation led by the responsible secretary of the Agency, Jin Ruyue, visited the Uzbekistan National News Agency.
At the meeting, it was noted that relations between Uzbekistan and China are rapidly developing in all areas. The importance of reliable information exchange between the two countries was emphasized.
– UzA is ready to support any effort to enhance relations with international partners, – said Director General of the Uzbekistan National News Agency Abdusaid Kuchimov. – Our countries are famous for their ancient history and splendid civilization. The Great Silk Road signifies centuries-old friendly relations between our peoples. Cooperation between UzA and Xinhua news agencies is developing more and more. China’s media experience is an excellent school for developing countries.
During the conversation, it was noted that last year, on the eve of the state visit of President Xi Jinping to Uzbekistan, the article entitled “Working together for a brighter future of China – Uzbekistan relations” was distributed to the whole country and the world through UzA.
Mr. Jin Ruyue emphasized that it is appropriate to take measures to develop mutual partnership at the level of time requirements, rapid exchange, and systematic improvement of staff experience and qualifications.
In today’s era of global changes, the importance of information space is incomparable. In this sense, it was noted that paying serious attention to the content of events at the level of heads of state is necessary.
During the dialogue, it was again confirmed that UzA, which has many years of tradition, favors developing relations with China’s influential news agencies in line with modern trends.
As previously reported, the Uzbekistan National News Agency delegation participated in the China-Central Asia News Agency Forum organized by Xinhua in May this year.
