XII international exhibition of Education and Career opened at the Palace of youth creativity.

The event, organized jointly by Kamolot public youth movement together with the Chamber of Commerce, ministries of labour and social protection of population, higher and secondary special education of Uzbekistan, was attended by the local and foreign higher educational institutions, large enterprises and centres of employment promotion, offering vacancies.

First Deputy Chairman of the Central Council of Kamolot public youth movement F.Muhammadjanova and others noted that the successive reforms in the education system conducted under the leadership of President of our country, are widely recognized by the international community. This exhibition enhances the effectiveness of the employment of young specialists.

At professional colleges, the young people can acquire several professions along with knowledge in general subjects. Graduates of secondary special and vocational educational institutions cross the threshold of enterprises as specialists who have mastered a particular profession and familiar with the production process. At lyceums also pupils receiving general education in academic areas, in addition learn the basics of specific specialties.

Approved by the resolution of the President Islam Karimov the program of modernization of the material-technical base of universities and radical improvement of the quality of training for the years 2011-2016 serves as an important factor in the further development of education system in the country. It identifies specific measures on construction and reconstruction of buildings of universities, their equipment, organization of modern laboratories, optimization of fields of study, further improvement of the state educational standards.

"Our main goal is to familiarize young people with modern methods of education system in Uzbekistan and foreign states, the organization of exchange of experience between educational institutions, the assistance of the youth in choosing suitable universities and providing new jobs," says the coordinator of the entrepreneurial projects of the Kamolot public youth movement Abdulaziz Muminov. "The exhibition, divided into two sections, involves more than 20 leading universities and more than 60 branch offices, language centres, organization-employers of Uzbekistan, China, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Russia, Malaysia, Great Britain, Hungary, Poland, Canada, Singapore, the USA, Israel and other countries."

"Educational reforms conducted in our country yielding good results," says the rector of the South Korean Inha University in the city of Tashkent Sherzod Shermatov. "Our young people have a strong desire for education. This is evidenced by the many young visitors."

The section dedicated to professions, helps the leading firms and companies of our country to elect candidates for the available jobs. Here, not only young men and women graduating from educational institution, but also professionals with experience can find suitable work.

"I got education in computer engineering abroad," says Feruzbek Saidov. "Now, I want to use my knowledge in the name of further development of our country. Here, I have established contacts with companies offering jobs in the field of information technologies. We are, the youth, pleased with such opportunities, created with care about our future."

During the exhibition, the Kamolot public youth movement will hold training seminars and projects aimed at career guidance for young men and women, the development of their entrepreneurial skills.
